Spey River Bourbon Cask Finish has been matured in traditional American oak casks until it has achieved the perfect balance of flavours, only then the whisky is then transferred into first fill Bourbon casks to allow the secondary maturation which adds to its complex character and refined depth of flavour. On the nose rich malty aroma with hints of breakfast cereal and cooked fruits. On the palate crisp, fresh flavour with malty sweetness and delicate oak notes.
